Refund Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

1. 1. Who this applies to

   ExpertDx provides physician-to-physician diagnostic consultations to medical practices and other healthcare organizations (“Practices”). These are professional services purchased by businesses, not consumer purchases. This policy applies to every consultation fee paid to ExpertDx, Inc. (“ExpertDx”).

2. 2. All fees are final

   A consultation fee is charged when a Practice submits a case and is fully earned at submission, when triage, analysis and specialist review begin. Fees are non-refundable and non-cancellable, in whole or in part, for any reason, including when:

   • the Practice withdraws or cancels the case after submitting it;
   • the information submitted is incomplete or inaccurate, or the case waits on the Practice to answer a question;
   • the Practice disagrees with, or does not act on, the consultation’s findings or recommendations;
   • the patient’s diagnosis, treatment or outcome differs from the consultation;
   • the report is delivered later than an estimated turnaround time;
   • the report is later corrected or amended.

3. 3. The only exceptions

   • Billing errors. If a Practice is charged more than once for the same case, or more than the price shown at checkout, ExpertDx will refund the excess.
   • Consultations ExpertDx cannot deliver. If ExpertDx declines a case or cannot deliver a signed consultation report, ExpertDx will, at its option, credit the fee toward a future consultation or refund it.

   Any other refund or credit is a one-time courtesy at ExpertDx’s sole discretion and does not change this policy for any other order.

4. 4. Promotional codes

   Promotional codes and discounts have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, extended or refunded. A promotional code is not a separate agreement under section 6.

5. 5. Disputes

   Please contact hello@expert-dx.com before disputing a charge with your card issuer. ExpertDx may pause new orders from a Practice while a dispute it has filed remains open.

6. 6. Separate agreements

   If a Practice has a separate written agreement with ExpertDx that addresses fees, payment, refunds or credits, that agreement supersedes this policy, and this policy does not apply to the orders that agreement covers.

7. 7. Law and changes

   This policy does not limit any right that cannot be waived under applicable law. ExpertDx may update this policy; the version posted when a case is submitted applies to that case.
